About Us
Kalbim Bir Kindergarten, which is affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, was established by competent people who have been operating for years in their education and training life. Our main goals in the education and training programs at Kalbim Kindergarten are established to support the mental, physical, social and emotional development of children. In our school, IB's Primary Years Program PYP (Primary Years Program), which is based on inquiry and research, and GEMS (Great Discoveries in Science and Mathematics Programs), which include effective science and mathematics activities, are implemented.
In the daily program, the skills of thinking, questioning, taking initiative, planning what they want to do, realizing what they planned and evaluating what they do are supported. Thanks to the frequently changing physical space layout and materials, feeling safe and creative thinking skills are strengthened in new environments. While the education program is being implemented, children's development levels and individual differences are taken into consideration. Positive teacher-child approach, follow-up of development processes and transparency in school-family communication are the most important elements we value. As Kalbim Kindergarten, our aim is to support our children to start their education journeys in primary education and beyond with a firm and confident step.
As of the first day of our education process, our psychologists and teachers observe our children in every environment. These evaluations are made in classrooms, in the cafeteria, group games with friends, workshops and branch lessons. The social / emotional development, relationships, roles, behaviors, skills and communication of each child are evaluated from the perspective of a psychologist and presented to you in periodic reports.
Our Vision
The vision of Kalbim Bir Kindergarten under the Ministry of National Education; To be a preferred institution with its educational program prepared according to the development levels, interests and needs of children, emphasizing scientific knowledge, attaching importance to artistic and cultural activities, supporting creativity and family participation. In this context, our goal is;
- Ensuring that the child undertakes an active, selective and decision-making task in learning, and the teacher is more passive, encouraging, and facilitating learning,
- Complying with international standards on lighting, sound system, security, ventilation, cleaning, living / playground, and guiding the development of new standards,
- By ensuring the participation of all parents in educational activities, contributing to the unification of the child's home life with school life and to the child-family couple's learning together,
- Conforming to the characteristics of the society but not ignoring the universal features,
- Providing children with a quality education that will serve as a basis for their further education,
- To be a school in which its staff, parents and students are happy and proud to be a part, supporting its researcher identity with new projects, contributing to science and constantly improving.
Our Mission
As Private Kalbim Bir Kindergarten, we raise children who can express themselves by using international education models suitable for the age levels of children, respect the rights of every living thing, are innovative, open to change, and have strong communication in preschool education. We provide quality and equal educational opportunities to our students with our teaching staff who play an active role in completing their bio-psycho-social development.
